Software Developer (Delphi) (m/f/d)

Within the KÜS group of companies, KÜS DATA GmbH - as an independent company in Losheim am See in northern Saarland - operates one of the most modern high-security and high-performance data centers in the southwest.

In order to further improve our comprehensive services, we are looking for a software developer / IT specialist for application development (m/f/d) to join our software development team.

The work location is in Losheim am See (Saarland, Germany). Please note that a large part of the activities should be carried out on site. Occasionally and in coordination, remote work is possible, but this is not a 100% remote job.

Your tasks:

• Development and maintenance of native desktop applications, browser-based web applications and interfaces
• Extension and connection to relational database systems
• Documentation of your work with the help of modern tools
• Active participation in versioning and release planning
• Checking and processing customer and support inquiries
• Recording, documenting and implementing the requirements of the company network
• Evaluating new technologies and actively supporting their introduction

Your profile:

• Completed studies or training as an application developer with professional experience - alternatively many years of professional experience in software development
• Independent analysis, documentation and implementation of complex problems
• You have knowledge in the following areas: - Object-oriented programming with common programming languages
• Development of Windows applications with Delphi or a comparable programming language
• Relational SQL databases
• Experience in the following areas is desirable: - Version control systems (SVN / GIT)
• Agile software development
• Web development (C#, PHP, Typescript)
• Container systems (Docker)
• Structured and independent way of working
• Team competence and communication skills
• You have very good written and spoken German and English skills
