Linux System Administrator (m/f/d)
Permanent position, full-time - Cologne
Your tasks
- Setup and operation of centralized and decentralized Linux systems
- The operation of central identity management for school authorities
- The provision and monitoring of our customer systems
- The backup and restore of server data
- Creating scripts for automation in the server environment
- The willingness to occasionally participate in the on-call duty
Your profile
- You have completed training as an IT specialist (or comparable) and have already gained professional experience
- You have in-depth knowledge of installing and operating Linux servers
- A good technical understanding, a pronounced service and solution orientation as well as a structured and careful way of working characterize you
- You work just as well independently as part of a team
- We require fluent written and spoken German
Your experience
- Administration of Debian-based Linux distributions in a business environment
- First experience in the use of Docker, Ansible, GIT and relational databases
- Automation of recurring tasks using Bash or Python
- Monitoring and performance analysis
- Experience with OpenLDAP and Samba directory services
