Your impact:

As a DevSecOps Engineer Software Development / Public Sector (m/f/d) you will play a key role in developing and ensuring quality and security in complex software development projects.

• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): You will be responsible for the effective setup of the CI/CD process and implement/maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Security architecture: By integrating adequate security measures into the software development cycle, you ensure an appropriate level of security.
• Automation: By continuously increasing the degree of automation in the software development cycle, you increase efficiency and quality and contribute to compliance with security guidelines.
• Monitoring & troubleshooting: By constantly monitoring applications and infrastructure, you can identify problems early on and avoid interruptions in software development.
• Collaboration: You work closely with developers and operations teams to create a shared responsibility for the application lifecycle

Your skillset:

• Completion of a STEM degree program or comparable training and at least 2 years of professional experience in software development
• Technical understanding of software development processes and practical experience in at least one common programming language (e.g. Java, Python, C#)
• Experience with agile software development processes (e.g. Scrum, SAFe) and the resulting requirements for the technical setup of the development infrastructure
• Experienced with typical tools in the area of DevOps and container virtualization such as GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
• German and English very good written and spoken. Willingness to travel is not required.
